Introduction

The Follow Through LLC is proud to introduce two of our newest client-athletes, Landen Harrison (12) and Judah Harrison (8), widely known on social media as 2 Karate Bros. Based in metro Atlanta, the Harrison brothers are dynamic two-sport athletes who are excelling in karate and competitive swimming while maintaining strong academic performance and exemplary character. Their journey reflects a rare combination of discipline, family support, and long-term vision that aligns seamlessly with The Follow Through’s mission of holistic athlete development.

Athletic Foundation and Cross-Training

Karate has always been the foundation of the brothers’ athletic identity and remains their first love and primary sport. With the guidance and intentional planning of their parents, Landen and Brittnay Harrison, the brothers began incorporating swimming into their training regimen several years ago to improve strength, endurance, and overall performance during karate competition. The results have been undeniable. Landen explains that swimming helps improve kicking power in your legs as well, a statement supported by performance moments that include a viral kick delivered during competition that ended a match in dramatic fashion.

Goals and Competitive Mindset

The brothers’ goals extend far beyond short-term success. They aspire to compete in the Olympics in both sports and become world champions in karate. Despite their young ages, both Landen and Judah demonstrate a mature understanding of what excellence requires. When asked what it takes to be a champion, Judah shared insight well beyond his years, stating that success comes from perfecting every stroke and keeping your eyes on the wall rather than your opponent. This mindset reflects the discipline and mental focus they bring to training and competition alike.

Academic Excellence

Academics are treated with the same level of seriousness as athletics in the Harrison household. Both brothers attend school in Fairburn, Georgia, where they are recognized not only for their athletic ability but also for their commitment in the classroom. Judah is a fifth-grade student at E.C. West Elementary School, while Landen attends Bear Creek Middle School as a sixth grader. Together, they consistently earn A/B Honor Roll recognition and have received high honors such as the Principal’s Award and the Citizens Award, reinforcing the importance of balance, accountability, and character.

Athletic Achievements

Their accomplishments in sport are equally impressive. Judah currently holds the rank of purple belt in karate, a notable milestone within the martial arts ranking system, while also competing as a swimmer with the South Fulton Swordfish. Landen, the older brother, is a first-degree black belt and a world champion in karate at just 12 years old, an accomplishment that places him among an elite group of young martial artists nationally. He competes in the ASKL Karate League and recently participated in the 2026 Peach State Championship South, where he entered six events and finished in the top ten statewide in four of them.

Training Environment and Mentorship

Both brothers train at Tony Young’s All-Stars South Dojo under the leadership of Tony Young, a professional martial artist and national super lightweight karate champion for 19 consecutive years. Along with their coaches and senseis, Tony Young has played a major role in shaping the brothers’ technical skill, discipline, and competitive mindset. They also draw inspiration from elite martial artists such as Michael Jai White, whom they had the opportunity to meet at a tournament, reinforcing their belief in what is possible through dedication and consistency.

Family Support and Values

At the core of the brothers’ success is family. Their mother, a school teacher, and their father, an Atlanta firefighter, are deeply involved in every aspect of their development, dedicating time, structure, and encouragement to ensure their sons stay grounded, focused, and motivated. When asked who they look up to most, the answer is immediate and unanimous: their parents, followed closely by their coaches and senseis who challenge them daily to be better.

Life Beyond Competition

Despite their demanding schedules and competitive success, Landen and Judah still enjoy being kids. In their spare time, they enjoy playing video games such as Roblox, shooting hoops on the basketball court, and roller skating, allowing them to maintain balance, joy, and connection outside of structured training.

What’s Next

Up next, the brothers will compete at the Battle of Atlanta, one of the most prestigious martial arts competitions in the country, drawing elite national and international talent. As they continue their journey toward world championships and Olympic dreams, Landen and Judah Harrison embody the core values of The Follow Through LLC: discipline, preparation, academic excellence, strong mentorship, and the ability to remain grounded while striving for greatness. The Follow Through is honored to support and amplify the continued rise of 2 Karate Bros.
